Your 14-day cancellation right

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. Tell us by email at support@kaptanleather.co.uk and you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

We refund the price you paid plus the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back, to the original payment method. You pay the cost of returning the item unless it is faulty or not as described.

Our 30-day returns policy

Beyond the statutory window we accept returns for 30 days from delivery on items that are unworn, unwashed and in original condition with tags attached. Leather that has been worn takes a permanent impression quickly, so we cannot resell a jacket that has been out on a bike.

Made-to-measure and altered items are excluded from the 30-day policy. Your statutory cancellation right and your rights over faulty goods are unaffected.

Faulty or incorrect items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something arrives faulty or is not what you ordered, we cover return postage and you may choose a repair, a replacement or a refund. Tell us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Protective equipment that has been through a crash has done its job and cannot be returned as faulty. Replace any armoured garment after an impact.

How to start a return

Email support@kaptanleather.co.uk with your order number and which items you are sending back, and we will reply with the return address and instructions. Keep your proof of postage until the refund lands.
